Second printing, with "FO" monogram on title page and foot of spine, and "S.T.K." for "T.S.K." in caption on p.136; but gathered in eights (while the first issue was gathered in sixes). Octavo (18cm); emerald green cloth, with titles stamped in gilt on spine, and author's facsimile signature in gilt on front cover and in blind to rear cover; brown endpapers; vi,[7]-152pp. Base of spine gently nudged, a few faint foxed spots to right edge of textblock, else a fresh, Fine copy. Handsome early work by the American short story writer and poet, a Johnson's High Spot. BAL 7253.
