About This Item

Privately Printed, 1944. Soft cover. Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, showing no marks or wear. The stapled card covers are in slightly less than very good condition, with light wear at edges. The poems commemorate the places --- Skagway, Norman Wells, etc. -- and people -- Art the Mailman, U.S. Corps of Engineers, etc. -- involved in building the Alaska highway. There is no publication date given in the book, but 1944 is the date tentatively given by the National Library of Canada
