Newport, R. H. Johns Ltd., 1944 1st Ltd Ed. 36/220.. Hardback, 10 x 6.5 inches. Quarterbound light brown and blue cloth, with gilt lettering to spine and design to front. Top page edges gilt. In textured/patterned dustwrapper. In very good condition with good dustwrapper (DW some foxing spots, darkening to spine, some small tears to edges, tears to ends of spine with larger tear to bottom end. Vertical crease.) Some fading to edges of cloth. Bookplate to front endpaper “Count Charles de Salis.” Signed and numbered at front by Author. Inside pages all very clean and tight throughout. Edges rough cut. Else a very good clean and tight copy. Sketch maps to endpapers. 112pp. Illustrated with many B&W drawings by the Author.

The Antique Map & Bookshop was established in 1976 and has been in Puddletown since 1978. PUDDLETOWN is situated just outside DORCHESTER in the county of DORSET, on the A35 to BOURNEMOUTH. The village has a by-pass now which means there is easy access to the village and ample space for parking. Our shop is directly on the main road through the village.
