London: Constable & Company Ltd, 1929. Leather. Fine. 12mo. [120 x 180mm]. Thirteen (13) Blue leatherette volumes with gilt facsimile signature of Shaw to the front of each and gilt decorated spines. Top edges gilt. Silk ribbon page marker in each volume. The final printing in 1932 which adds a 13th volume - "The Apple Cart". Pocket edition. Each volume tight and square, as if unread and unhandled, protected nicely in the blue cloth folding box with blue velvet lining, with a facsimile gilt stamped signature of Bernard Shaw on the top panel. Rare complete with the original box and in such fine condition.
