New York: The Modern Library, 1939. 2nd Thus. Very Good+. Translated by Constance Garnett and with a preface by Eva Le Gallienne. Second or later edition from The Modern Library with the dust jacket from the 1939 edition. In orignal, unclipped, dust jacket in mylar with some creasing and small chips. Grey cloth over boards with gilded lettering in and frames around green labels on front and spine; light rubbing at edges. Top fore edge stained blue. Interior is clean and clear. Near Fine. Contains: "The Sea Gull," "Uncle Vanya," "The Three Sisters," "The Cherry Orchard," "The Anniversary," "On the High Road," and "The Wedding.
