A very good or better copy with minor rubbing to the cloth and pushing to the spine tips, the text block edges tanned. Complete with the original very good complete but lightly creased dustwrapper. Not price-clipped. Inscribed by the author "To my favourite Auntie Muriel, who has given me her love now for fifty eight years, from her grateful and loving niece Barbara". The printed dedication reads "This book is lovingly dedicated to my aunt Muriel Kathleen Garner, whose delight in books, history and the Derbyshire countryside has always been an inspiration."
