Inscribed by DeLillo to Craig Anderson, manager of the Rare Book Room at the Strand Bookstore in Manhattan, on the half-title. The author's fifth novel. It follows Lyle and Pammy Wynant, a young and affluent Manhattan couple whose casual boredom is overturned by their willing participation in chaotic detours from the everyday. Octavo. Original cream paper-covered boards over a burgundy cloth spine, with gilt and blind-stamped titles. Remainder mark to the top edge. Some light fading along the extremities of the dust jacket; otherwise very good.
