Dublin: Maunsel & Co., Ltd., 1907. 2nd Edition . Hardcover. Good. small 8vo, pp. vii, 86, plus cast listing for the first performance, by the National Theatre Society, Ltd., at the Abbey Theatre on Saturday, 26th January, 1907, light brown cloth spine over dark red boards, these grubby and with a few marks, faded owner's signature to ffep, free end papers heavily and unevenly toned, foxing and some toning throughout, uncut pages, page 59/60 missing top corner (production fault?) but does not affect text, a single word underlined in the text, otherwise clean, binding tight. The frontispiece is reproduction of a J.B. Yeats drawing of Synge at rehearsal dated Jany 25 1907. This second edition was published in April 1907, two months after the first.
