The recipient may be American journalist, author, and historian George Feifer, who lived in Roxbury, Connecticut with his longtime partner, German journalist Barbara Ungeheuer. The book was purchased in Brookfield, Ct., which is next door to Roxbury. Feifer died in 2019. 8vo., cloth & boards in dust jacket; 380 pages. Illustrated..
