London: T. Nelson & Sons 1874. (Hardcover) 366pp. Good to very good. Burgundy cloth with bevelled edges and decoratively stamped in black and gilt. Coated black endpapers, all edges gilt, 8 chromolithographs (including title page). Edgeworn, the inner hinges are cracked and there is a previous owner's inscription dated 1894 on the first blank page. (Religion, Religion).

Synopsis

The Pilgrim's Progress from This World to That Which Is to Come is a Christian allegory written by John Bunyan and published in February, 1678. It is regarded as one of the most significant works of English literature, has been translated into more than 200 languages, and has never been out of print.
