In a full black calf binding. Externally a trifle worn; with a few small dents to the leather, which is bumped to the extremities. Gilt page edges on three sides. Beautifully marbled endpapers. Title page is foxed along with a few other pages, a small watermark in one small portion; otherwise normal aging and page toning. Spine is tooled and gilt and the covers have a tooled border. The Pilgrim's Progress from This World to That Which Is to Come is a Christian allegory written by John Bunyan and published in February, 1678. It is regarded as one of the most significant works of English literature, has been translated into more than 200 languages, and has never been out of print.
