About This Item
Book Club Edition, indicated by no number line. Half-title page is directly inscribed by author "to Lynch Christian - best wishes always, Annie Dillard, May 15, 1974 Hollins, Virginia" using her real signature instead of her typical squiggle, making it a scarce copy.
Book is in Very Good+, with light discoloration (possibly dampstains) around edge ~1" of front of cloth cover, more of the same discoloration spots on rear of cover (see photos). Pages are clean and tight, no other notable faults.
Dust jacket is in Very Good+ condition, with very light discoloration and 5 very small splatter marks on jacket spine, one scuff mark near center of jacket spine. Jacket has very light edgewear.
Synopsis
Pilgrim at Tinker Creek is the story of a dramatic year in Virginia's Blue Ridge valley. Annie Dillard sets out to see what she can see. What she sees are astonishing incidents of "mystery, death, beauty, violence."
