About This Item

New York: Simon and Schuster, 1992. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. very good +/fine. 544pp, 8vo. A very good + copy in a fine jacket. Text block foxed. Signed by Tolson on ffep and inscribed to Ansley Cope. Cope was a fraternity brother of Walker Percy during college. He later visited Percy in New Orleans. This visit is documented on pp415, and Cope is also quoted on pp113. Additionally laid in is a letter from Tolson to Cope thanking him for his contributions, and two flyers pertaining to events for the book.
