About This Item
New York: G. P. Putnam's, (1905). Hardcover. Good. John Leech. edge wear and scuffing to the leather. A full color reproduction of the cartoon which appears on page 87, and was the pastedown to the original cloth binding, is tipped to the front endpaper. An undated collection of cartoons which appeared in Punch, the British magazine of humor and satire. Most are of the hunting and hounds set for which Leech, who contributed to Punch from 1841 until his death in 1864, was famous. Clean and bright in a tight gilt decorated binding, all edges gilt. Three Quarter Leather 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Hard Cover. Most items ship with tracking numbers and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible.
