Bound in the publisher's lacquered half cloth over blue textured boards, gilt titles to spine. 13 issues, from January 7, 1939 to April 1, 1939. The January 7 issue contains a two page extract from Evelyn Waugh's Decline and Fall. Jan. 21st has a picture feature by Brassai, Paris by Night. Magazines lack covers, but otherwise are all in very good condition or better. Crack along the front joint, but binding is holding perfectly well. An illuminating depiction of British society in the run-up to World War II.
