Green boards with gilt, black and orange design. Some edgewear to top and bottom of spine and board edges. A couple of small linear marks on rear board. Small stain at edge of front endpapers, continuing to List of Illustrations page. One page ad for other titles by author at front of book and 16 pages of ads for other books by publisher at rear of book. Black and white frontis. Other stories included are "The Captain's Youngest", "Little Betty's Kitten Tells Her Story", and "How Fauntleroy Occurred". 15 full page illustrations, including frontis - all present and secure. 203 pp.
