A L Burt. NY. Circa 1935 reprint edition., 1935 Book size about 5 by 7 1/2 inches with some 363 pages. Bound in bright orange cloth with black lettering. In the original dust wrapper with list of publisher titles for sale on the reverse. Book with very slight wear only noticeable at the spine top/bottom. Wrapper with light chipping at spine top/bottom; couple of small edge tears; light wear at folds top/bottom; small hole in front cover. Lovely bright, clean and unmarked book in a very nice dust wrapper (Which, as you may know, is exceedingly scarce in decent condition). Synopsis
Piccadilly Jim is a novel by P. G. Wodehouse, first published in the U.S. on February 24, 1917 by Dodd, Mean and Co. , New York, and in the U.K. in May 1918 by Herbert Jenkins, London. The story had previously appeared in the U.S. in the Saturday Evening Post between June and November 1916. The novel features Ogden Ford and his mother Nesta (both previously encountered in The Little Nugget). Nesta has remarried, to the hen-pecked, baseball-loving millionaire Mr.
