Large quarto, [two volumes]. Publisher's black hardcover, cloth spine, with title in gilt. Purple endpapers as issued. Stated "first edition" on copyright page. Housed in the publisher's clamshell, matching black boards, cloth spine with title stamped in gilt, light soiling to spine, shelf wear to cover, lined with purple felt. Pablo Picasso's "347 Series" is a collection of 347 engravings he created between March and October 1968. This series is known for its wide range of themes, including bullfighting scenes, artist studios, intimate social encounters, and mythological scenes, showcasing Picasso's artistic diversity and mastery of engraving techniques.
