London: (printed in Glasgow by Edward Khull for) Longman., 1841. 1st Edition . Decorative Cloth. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Pages; XV, (1), 292, (4), 16. Woodcut illustrations throughout. ?Dimensions; 230 by 145mm. Decorative dark green cloth, rebacked. Some fading and rubbing to the cloth, the hinges are in good order. The text is complete, tidy internally, light browning to the pages. Ex Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, their neat stamp on the title and at the top of page 1. First edition. William Mackenzie 1791-1868, surgeon-oculist to Queen Victoria, he raised opthalmic surgery to the place it is today.
