It is profusely illustrated with hundreds of in-text figures and b/w reproductions of photographic plates (some being full-page). Minor soiling on binding. Head of spine rippled. Minor shelf wear to tail of spine. Ex-libris stamp and signature of previous owner on free front endpaper. Minor foxing on title-page. Binding and interior in overall very good condition.
