Good-VG for Age/No Jacket. 13.5 Cm x 19.5 Cm. 256 pp.; prev.owner's small gilt label to top front pastedown = red Foyles sticker bottom same, earyl small sig.centre front endpaper, pastedown and endpaper edges tanned for c. 1-2 cms inwards, covers clean and minimally worn, spine slightly dull with small rub to top, otherwise good. Incudes coverage of language origins & evolution, spelling metaphor grammar thought and education plus an Appendix on Aristotle's theory of grammar. Fairly uncommon. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
