Putnam, 1927. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Poor. 248 pages. Blue cloth with gilt titles and decoration, clean and bright with light edgewear, points of rubbing to corners. Spine square. Binding sound. Dusty top edge. Dust jacket tattered with heavy edgewear, large chips from spine ends, and with front inner flap fully split at front hinge, but present and held in place by Mylar cover. DJ also sports crease lines from when it had previously been folded and laid-in inside the book, but is now jacketing the book in fully removable protective Mylar wrapper. Illustrated endsheets; slight crinkling/creasing to FFEP. Small contemporary bookseller's ticket at bottom edge of rear paste down. Pages lightly toned, text unmarked.
