New York, New York, U.S.A.: Ibooks, 2001. Originally written under the well known nom de plume of William Irish in 1942 and printed in the great pulps. This very fine and ultimately very sad author wrote some beautiful hard-boiled fiction. Rear Window and The Bride Wore Black, are just two. This is a great story about a disappearing girl or I suppose a phantom lady and the havoc she wreaks. Interiors are tightly bound and only lightly tanned. Light corner bump to the bottom right. Reading crease to the front wrap. Spine is straight and square. A great story in acceptable reading copy form.. 1st Printing. Trade Paperback. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
