London, Constable, 1992 1st. Hardback, 9.5 x 6.5 inches. Light blue cloth with silver lettering to spine. In illustrated blue dustwrapper. In very good near fine condition with near fine DW (DW some minor handling marks to rear, not price clipped, in protective sleeve.) Cloth clean and bright. Authors inscription to front endpaper “Louis Hughes, Louis, thanks for your help (see p11) and for inspiring the Droves, Yours ever Barry, 15/10/92.” And signed again on main title page. Loose newspaper cutting in front. Else a very clean and tight copy. 344pp. Illustrated with B&W photo plates.
