Editions De L'Illustration. Paris, 1927 Book size about 8 by 11 inches with some 776 pages. Bound in marbled paper over boards with leather spine. Gilt spine lettering. A bound volume of individual issues of the French publication 'La Petite Illustration' including issues from 1926 & 1927 (Two from 1926, 13 from 1927). Issues include novels, short fiction works, three issues about movies, a poetry compilation. One movie issue of 12 pages (May 21, 1927) is devoted to Charlie Chaplin with movie stills and text. The novels and short novels are illustrated mostly with full page plates by various artists. Slightest of wear. NEAR FINE. 1st Edition.. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket.
