Internally good with portrait of John Simpson included as a frontpiece as well as twenty-one collotype plates of etchings and drawings by R.W.Buss throughout and a biographical essay by Michael Sadleir. Very outer edge slightly worn. Rough cut pages. A stunning copy of a fascinating work of fiction based closely of naval expeditions of the author.
