London : William Harrison Ainsworth , 1827 . Third Edition . Good . 8VO . Third Edition. De Roos's travels in the Americas and observations on the threat of the US Navy (not much apparently). Illustrated with fold-out frontis and 12 very nice plates from drawings by the author. The fold-out is a large panorama of Quebec City. Bound in original boards, rebacked with wide brown buckram tape. A lightly worn non-circulating ex-library copy with usual markings. Contents generally in very good condition, the fold-out is edgeworn due to sloppy folding and has several small tears not extending into the picture, some moisture stains on the plates. Sabin 19677.
