Spine browned. Wear and loss to ends of spine and edges of covers. Previous owner's initials to spine: J B-M (John Bowman Manifold, Lieut.-Commander Aboard H.M.S. Exeter, killed in action during the Battle of the River Plate). Preserved in a removable jacket protector. Overall jacket condition is Fair. Book: Blue cloth binding with a few small marks and indentations. Creasing to spine, rubbing to ends of spine and corners of boards. Heavy foxing to page edges, a little light foxing to text. Overall book condition is Very Good Minus. Size: 5.75 x 8.75 inches (14.5 x 22 cm). Hardback. Printed pages: vii, 242
