London: Neville Spearman, 1963. Burton's classic translation of the Arabian erotic masterpiece was originally published in 1886 for subscribers only. This is a Very Good Plus copy of the First Edition Thus, edited and with a new introduction by Alan Hull Walton. Red cloth binding with gilt lettering an the spine. Clean and fresh text; 271 pages. This is a very attractive production, rather uncommon; very bright and clean but bumped at the corners and at the top of the rear panel. The dustwrapper is complete and unclipped, showing wear and wrinkling, mainly at the edges. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Thus.. Hard Cover. Very Good Plus/Very Good.
