The headline above the image reads, " Annual Parliaments & Universal Suffrage defeated." An early attempt and failure to promote voting rights. COHN 639. "An extremely rare pamphlet, a political squib on the Westminster Election, Covent Garden, 3 March 1819, with a frontispiece. I have not seen a copy of the complete work." A full page image of the this title adjacent to page 183 in Cohn's bibliography. With Cohn's armorial bookplate inside front cover housing the illustration, together with a facsimile of the original, inscribed below the image in pencil as "Pailthrope's facsimile.
