Modern Library, 1950. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Small book, red cloth, black rectangle at center front with gilt title and author--fine, gilt fine on spine too, 496 pages. On inside of Dust Jacket it states "383 Outstanding Books..." Some red ink underlining throughout, name crossed out inside front cover. DJ price-clipped, front has black backgrund with yellow, white and red lettering. DJ has rubbing along front bookfold edges, spine top and bottom also rubbed, tiny tear at spine bottom right edge, back uniformly browned. Good DJ/Very Good book.
