New York: Harper & Brothers, 1952. Hardcover. VG- (Very Good Minus)/Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. No edition or printing statement; thus an early printing. Black cloth backed illustrated boards with trace edgewear and toning, and slightly bumped spine ends. Jacket in new archival mylar sleeve has minor dampstaining along spine which scarcely shows on the book beneath; light soil and toning; a bit of scuffing and chipping along spine panel and lower corners; flaps not clipped. Binding sound, interior clean and lightly toned. Illustrated by the author. Appears hardly read, with no chips, tears or creasing to pages. No prev owner names, stickers or stamps. Not ex-library. Unpaginated thin picture book.
