London: Hamish Hamilton, 1961. Fourth Printing, 1973 . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp. There is one small discolouration on the front end paper, but no marks or wear. The illustrated covers are fresh, with light wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is is also in very good condition, with very light wear, but no chips or damage. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: The publisher describes Antelope Books as "with their continuous story and single close-knitted plot, are intended for children of about six to about nine years of age, although they are equally suitable for reading aloud". Story: Roger and Cathy, who both wanted a pony, found a Victorian toy pony-cart in a junk shop, and lucky Cathy bought it for a penny. They called their new companion Prince Penny, took him everywhere, and had wonderful adventures. But when they went away on their holidays with their parents, Prince Penny disappeared.
