I was just trying to get him to relax with me. We were walking along to a location, and I said, 'Oh this is cool! Put your head in the hole.' And he was like, 'No, no way!' So I handed him the camera and said, 'OK, you take my picture. I'm gonna put my head in the hole.' So he (Jeff Bridges) finally did it." American photographer Peggy Sirota has been shooting celebrities since the mid-1980s and not always in the most conventional ways. She prides herself on her approach. Somewhere between stupid and funny, Peggy Sirota delves in and pulls out the magic from a celebrity shoot. Who else could suggest Janet Jackson is photographed in a full size plastic bag on a street corner? This freedom has consolidated her position as a fashion photographer, hailed in 1992 by British Vogue as one of the "Top Female Fashion Photographers". She has worked with Adidas, American Express, Clarins, Coca Cola, Conde Nast, Levis and 20th Century Fox. Her editorial work has appeared in British, French, Italian and Spanish "Vogue" as well as "GQ", "Vanity Fair", "Rolling Stone" and "Esquire".
