London: Adam and Charles Black. Good with no dust jacket. 1912. First Edition. Hardcover. Contains 12 full-page color illustrations by C. G. Lowther. This appears to be the first edition--have not located any earlier copies. Has a previous owner inscription dated 1920, St. John's, Newfoundland as well as another in pencil dated 1976 with a bookplate. Front-end paper creased. NOTE: the spine is detached along the edge of the front cover. ; Color Illustrations; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 88 pages .
