About This Item

London: A & C Black, 1929. Second edition. Hardcover. Good. One in a series of books produced to give the English reader some idea of foreign lands. Topics covered include, Rangoon, the People, the Irrawaddy River, Village and Town Life, The Forests and Temples and Religion. Good Hardback Second Edition. 87 pages with eight colour illustrations by the author. Weight: 0.5 kg Post free within Malaysia The cover, now protected in a plastic sleeve, has little signs of wear other than a few small marks at the back. There is a crack in the binding between the inside front cover and the first end paper, but this has not affected the strength of the binding. A front end paper has three different gift dedications. The binding is tight, the text clear and there is mild tanning and occasional spotting of the pages.
