Topics covered include, Rangoon, the People, the Irrawaddy River, Village and Town Life, The Forests and Temples and Religion. Good Hardback Second Edition. 87 pages with eight colour illustrations by the author. Weight: 0.5 kg Post free within Malaysia The cover, now protected in a plastic sleeve, has little signs of wear other than a few small marks at the back. There is a crack in the binding between the inside front cover and the first end paper, but this has not affected the strength of the binding. A front end paper has three different gift dedications. The binding is tight, the text clear and there is mild tanning and occasional spotting of the pages.

The Penang Bookshelf was set up in mid 2010 principally to introduce Malaysian residents to the variety of books there is available about the country both past and present. We only stock fiction and non-fiction related to Malaysia and the rest of Asia. Much of our current stock of over a thousand different titles is not available in Malaysia.
