Map frontispiece plus numerous illustrations including folding plan of Chatsworth, folding Cavendish & Manners pedigrees, 3 full-page engravings.Book Condition: Very Good. Original green moire cloth with printed paper title label to upper board. Spine darkened with a couple of chips to upper joint and light wear head & tail. Small printed bookplate to front pastedown with ghost of larger plate beneath it. Inner hinges weak. Damp stain to lower edge ffep, frontis & title page; handwritten name to title. 2 engravings damp-stained to edge.
