Freya Stark was an English-Italian explorer and writer, who wrote many books about her travels and autobiographies. She wrote this collection of reflective essays when she was 82 years old.Includes page breakers from wood engravings by Reynolds Stone. In original publisher's cloth binding with unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. Dust wrapper is very slightly worn to the extremities. The boards and spine are in a fine condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Near Fine
