Laid into this copy is a printed Rutledge poem titled Heart's Citadel which is signed by Rutledge at the bottom edge. Neat ownership signature on the top of the ffe. Rutledge is remembered most as one of America's most respected & appreciated outdoor writers. He was a Poet Laureate of South Carolina.
