Notes: Annie Sophie Cory (1868-1952) was the author of popular, racy, exotic novels under the pseudonyms Victoria Cross. Annie sometimes used her mother's maiden name, calling herself Vivian Cory Griffin. This novel was first published in 1896. Series: Pearson's half-crown novels.
