HAGE L.. ... a dialogue between three gentlemen on a tour in North Wales First edition, volume 1, all published, in contemporary dark green cloth, some cloth bubbles, corners bumped. Spine, printed paper label, with loss, edges bumped. Internally, half title, frontis, [2], [5], (vi-vii), [1] errata, [1], 2-144, 149-231 pp, odd pagination but correct, some leaves uncut, evidence of bookplate removal to fpd, printed by B. M'Millan, Bow-street, Covent garden. (230*145 mm). In half black calf over blue cloth, a few spots. Spine, raised bands, gilt titles, lower joints worn & just cracked. Internally, half title, frontis, [2], [5], (vi-vii), [1] errata, [1], 2-144, 149-231 pp (odd pagination but appears complete), 2 pls, marbled endpapers, half title inscribed 'From the Author', with a couple of ink short margin notes, t.e.g., printed by B M'Milan. final page states End of the First Volume, & the usual sources show 1 vol only. (229*139 pp). "... a dialogue between three gentlemen, on a tour in North Wales, which has in part appeared in a periodical publication [Cambrian quarterly magazine] ... a poem, called the Celtic annals, ... in illustration of an argument incidental to the subject, and as a specimen of Greek versification in the English language." - p. [iv]

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS You may request to cancel a book order or return a book within 14 days of receipt of the book. A book may be returned for one of the following reasons: Item damaged: The item was damaged during shipping. Item not as described: The condition of the book does not match the description on Madoc Books. Incorrect item delivered: The title, cover or edition of the book is different than the title on the order. Item not received: The estimated delivery date has passed and the book has still not arrived. To cancel a book order or return a book simply contact Madoc with your order confirmation details and to obtain the return address.

DELIVERY DETAILS We ship all of our orders via Royal Mail. Orders are usually shipped within 2 or 3 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized or a multiple in books we will contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Insurance costs are usually dictated by the shippers, should they be higher than normal, then we will contact you for your acceptance.
