About This Item
San Francisco, CA, U.S.A.: Grey Fox Press, 1983. Fine, as new, in full beige cloth with gilt titled spine, without dust jacket as issued. The hardcover edition of this title is quite scarce and was issued in a very small printing, perhaps as few as 100 copies. An iconic piece of Beat history that has taken on legendary status. Snyder's record based on his diaries of his 1962 travels through India with Allen Ginsberg, Peter Orlovsky, and Joanne Kyger (his wife at the time). Illustrated with black and white photographs by Snyder of the participents taken during the trip. As new condition from my personal collection. A scarce item for the Snyder collector. . First Edition, First Printing. Hard Cover. Fine.
