About This Item

Editions B. Arthaud, Grenoble, 1929. Later Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. GAUTHIEZ, PIERRE. Paris, Grenoble: Editions B. Arthaud, 1979. Octavo, pp. 220, 6 (notes, ads), boards illustrated with a maroon and silver abstract design quarter-bound in navy cloth with maroon morocco labels on spine, illustrated with fine gravures in text and on plates, top edge silver, text in French. This book is commonly found as a paperback, and the original paper cover created by Paul Leroy is preserved here. It is unknown to me who did this binding, which is attractive even though rubbed at extremities and discolored in spots. Condition of this book: Very good with a discolored section on front board, possibly caused by water; fore edge and end leaves have minor foxing, silver top edge a bit dulled, images fine. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text is in French. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Antiquarian & Rare; France; 1920s; French Language; Travel & Places. Pictures of this item not already displayed here available upon request. Inventory No: 52912. .
