About This Item
Berkeley, CA: University of California. Very Good+ in Very Good dust jacket. 1989. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. First Edition in this form (1989) , so stated. First Printing indicated by a complete numerical sequence. Very Good+ to Near Fine in a Very Good DJ: The Book shows a couple of faint, clearly stray pencil marks at the bottom edge of the text block: minimal shelf-soiling (or sun-blanching ? ) along the bottom edge of the black, cloth-covered boards; a hint of sun-blanching to the head of the backstrip; the lower rear corner tip is rather soft; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Free of ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, or labels. A handsome copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing minor, unobtrusive imperfections. Not far from 'As New'. The DJ shows a tear, a crease and a rather poorly performed tape-repair with 'Magic tape' along the top edge of the front panel; else light wear to the other extremities and mild rubbing to the panels; unclipped. Attractive and intact, but not without flaw. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. Folio (14.35 x 10.35 x 0.75 inches). Prepared by Michael Warren. Language: English. Weight: 55.1 ounces. Hardback with DJ. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall; xl, 149 pages .
