About This Item
Harold P. Bittner. Good with no dust jacket. 1949. Hardcover. E-Covers worn, rubbed, age toned. Age toning and a little foxing throughout. Possibly inscribed and signed by Author. Inscription is signed "Angie" with quotes around Angie, which I think is a nickname for the Author, Elbert Angevine, although I have not been able to confirm this. This book is about football in Rochester, New York, and it seems that every other person named in the book has a nickname in quotes: Harry "Dutch" Irwin, "Shag" Sheard, Walter "Jack"" Forsyth, Donald "Bunny" Harris, "Dutch" Mellody," Pop" Morrison, "Rip" Benzoni, "Rabbit" Maranville, "Gotch" Gillette, and many more. Age toning throughout. Binding sound. Text clean of highlighting, underlining or other pen/pencil marks. A Little Store that's BIG on Service. Tracking on every package. ; 93 pages; .
