Frank Dobie, from a colelction of Dobie books that I purchased in Texas, in Dobie's hand boldly in pencil on first free page, " Owned for the illustrations by Marchand J. Frank Dobie" 341 pages with the 4 color plates including frontispiece by J. N. Marchand. No jacket, Book is Very Good Plus at least, very clean green cloth with gilt titles to front board and spine, little wear to bottom corners and foxing on top edge, hinges and biding csound, book protected by a mylar jacket, No previous owner bookplate or writing. Very nice signed J. Frank Dobie association. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
