About This Item
New York: D. Appleton, 1936. A young Texas lad whose family had rights to a ranch in Argentina goes to assert his position. He comes in conflict with a wealthy ranchowner, falls in love with the rancher's granddaughter, and deals with other villains and allies. Bumped and rubbed, front hinge cracked but still pretty solid. Previous owner's name on the front pastedown, jacket blurb on the end paper, and a series of printed numbers in the back. Scuffs to the pastedowns where the jacket had been glued. Jacket rubbed with chips and tears, including a 3" chip from the back. Flaps have been trimmed way back so no printing is visible, in Brodart. Good reading copy.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fair.
