About This Item
Faber & Faber. First UK edition published by Faber & Faber in 1952. This is a very good or better copy. The Barnett Freedman illustrated dust wrapper has a couple of small tears to the corners and mild wear to the spine. It is not price clipped. There is a mark to the back panel but other than that overall bright and clean. The book is excellent with only a patch of browning to the front free end paper and a couple of mild creases to the top right hand corner. Overall a very good or better copy. The first african novel published outside of Africa, it is based on Yuroba Folktales. A classic african novel and rare in this condition. . Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 1952.
