Univ. of Arts, Tokyo, undated. Edition Unstated. Softcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. [Catalog.] Paintings of Modern Japanese Style; Tokyo: University of Arts, undated (mid-20th century). Folio, unpaginated, illustrated wraps with parchment overwrap and cardboard slipcase, 27 tipped-in color prints with Japanese text, typed English list of titles and artists laid in. Shows work from the late 19th and early 20th centuries in the university's collection. Artists include Hogai Kano, Gaho Hashimoto, Kanzah Shinomura and several others. Condition of this book: Brown stain to covers, inside clean. Parchment wrapper in pieces, slipcase splitting at bottom and top edges but still functional. Size: Large Folio (bigger than A3). Text is in Japanese. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact.
