Italy: Rizzoli, 1986. First American edition of this well-illustrated book depicting social life in Britain of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Illustrated in both color and in black and white. Brown cloth, illustrated endpapers, 287 pages, illustrated dustjacket. The book has a scrape to the lower edge of the front cover which has removed about an inch of fabric from the portion that meets the shelf, otherwise very good condition with good hinges, sound text block, clean pages free from names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is in near fine condition with some very light edgewear, no chips or tears.. First US Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
